The martial arts in Japan are not only a means of fight, but also a philosophy, a tradition, and a discipline of mind and behavior. Mr Kato Isao is the heir and successor of Owari Tokugawa family is the head and the teacher of Shunpu-kan Martial Arts center. He will teach you the basic techniques and rules of Owari-Kanryu style fighting and explain the most important things one needs to understand to become a great fighter. You will know why strength is an obstacle and learn the importance of discipline. The two hour practice session will allow a chance to practice with several different types of weapons, including swords, knives, and spears with the assistance of the school students.

Explanation about the history and culture, performance by senior pupils, training session on dagger and sword (spear art can be taught upon request).
